Self Healers Work

The Holistic Psychologist

Dr Nicole LePera has been a must follow on my Instagram since late 2018, early in my sober journey and at the beginning of my counselling studies. From those early days, I immersed myself in her work across social media, podcasts and books, and I feel genuinely grateful to be part of her global community, the Self Healers Circle.

This space offers accessible, ongoing mental health care and support for a small monthly fee, in a supportive environment guided by an experienced, deeply thoughtful mental health professional, alongside a team of equally qualified peers. It is no surprise that Dr Nicole is so widely respected. Her leadership, courage and innovation have helped reshape conversations around trauma, recovery and personal responsibility.

I proudly identify as a #selfhealer and a long-time follower of The Holistic Psychologist. I wholeheartedly encourage anyone with a history of trauma or ongoing mental health challenges to explore Dr Nicole LePera’s work. Her approach brings a sense of gentleness and depth to healing, rooted not only in clinical training but also in her own lived experience. In an industry that has not always supported lived-experience voices, she has made meaningful and lasting contributions to trauma-informed self-work through a holistic lens that honours the connection among mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

By introducing Holistic Psychology, Dr Nicole emphasises self-awareness, nervous system regulation and personal responsibility as key components of healing. Through the integration of therapeutic insight with practical self-help tools, her work empowers individuals to interrupt unhealthy patterns and build lives that feel more regulated, intentional and authentic. Her books and educational content continue to resonate with millions of people seeking grounded, practical pathways to self-discovery and recovery, deepening our understanding of how trauma shapes behaviour, relationships and overall mental health.

Dr. Nicole delves deeply into the subconscious and consciousness. When you fully immerse yourself in her work, you’ll discover that true freedom comes from realising how remarkable it is that your inner self's work can significantly enhance your overall mental health.
