Cannabis Biz

I'm one of the many millions of human souls in this country looking forward to the day when the Australian laws are re-written, and the decriminalisation occurs for cannabis.

The current criminal feeling of shame can overwhelm one’s psyche when one is already working hard in recovery from chronic mental and physical illnesses.

Consciously choosing this potent medicinal plant is a significant part of my intensive mental health management plan overseen by a specialised GP and mental health therapist.

Cannabis Saves Lives

For most, though, finding treating physicians educated accurately about the plant or not fearful of the stigma it can bring can be a more complex challenge than finding the $150+ minimum it can cost to fill per prescription with a pharmacy. I am hopeful that as our modern-day medical industry evolves under new training and perspectives around this powerful plant for both medical and recreational purposes.

And that one day, I might be able to own a cannabis farm of some kind with the freedom to grow, make and sell products I use myself, so I am best able to advocate for others its safety and efficacy in managing one’s overall health and well-being in active recovery from alcoholism and mental illness.

Cannabis has saved my life, and I am passionate about advocating for it as it has powerful chances of changing the face of the medical industry by taking it a step further and making it legally safe for recreational use, thereby opening up avenues for business growth within our country’s struggling economy.
